Matt and Anna's review of the Bima Digital Day.
Overall this day has been BRILLIANT!
We've learnt so much about the digital industry and what job opportunities are available within it.
Our group designed an app for the android system, including branding and layout, called 'Whats'Appening!?'.
The app would allow any person to download a map of any major town or city in Britain, and allow you to search any areas of the town/city that interest you. Then pinpoint it on the map.
BUT remember, its not real, so don't go looking for it!
We're very happy with our end result, ready to send off to Bima and kick butt. ;)
Lots of Love, Matt and Anna :D <3

BIMA D-Day at Fox's
So far the day is going well!
So we we thought we'd share some pictures of us at work!
The coding team are finding the challenge difficult, but they are smiling and learning loads. They have created an evil alligator, from which they cool crab has to escape...
Our social media group are marketing an idea I now want to buy from... we will upload pictures of their marketing creation later too.
We have several teams designing Apps now - and their ideas are interesting, useful and viable. Some of their designs are innovative and we are all looking forward to seeing their ideas come together over the next hour or so.
Finally, the viral video is going well too and hopefully we will be able to upload it by the end of the day.

Media Studies taking part in the national BIMA competition
On the 10th October students from BFCS Media Studies classes will take part in the national BIMA D-Day competition.
One of around 70 schools nationwide, and the only school locally to take part, students are looking forward to the exclusive opportunity to take part in these challenges.
During the day students will work in teams on one challenge - these range from App design to game coding as well as making a film in a day. They will also get to work with media industry professionals - local website company Evosite will be coming to BFCS.
Social media will play a big part throughout the day as well - with students regularly posting on Facebook and Twitter - informing you of their successes and communicating with the other schools involved.
What a great opportunity! This is a fantastic chance to share ideas and inspiration with teenagers across the country, as well as gain real life industry experience.
Keep tuned!
